First shows of 2012

In January, Epica will play their first shows of many in 2012. Before going on an extensive tour around the world to promote the highly anticipated upcoming album Requiem for the Indifferent, there will be two shows in the Netherlands:

Tickets are running like christmas-presents so be sure to get them in time!! These two shows well contain pyro-effects and some more surprises! We are currently finishing up our new album so you might expect a new song on the setlist. Be sure to be the first to hear it live!

Title new Epica album revealed

Epica's 5th full-length album which will be released on the 9th of March 2012 (13th of March for US) by Nuclear Blast will be called:

REQUIEM FOR THE INDIFFERENT

This title refers to the end of an era. Mankind can no longer stick their head in the sand for the things that are happening around us. We are facing many challenges. There is an enormous tension between different religions and cultures, wars, natural disasters and a huge financial crisis, which is getting out of control. More than ever we will need each other to overcome these problems. As we are all connected; the universe, earth, nature, animals and human beings, this period in time will be the prelude to the end for those who still don't want to, or simply won't see it. A REQUIEM FOR THE INDIFFERENT but also a possibility for a new beginning with great new chances!

Epica will present this album to the public on the 16th of March 2012, in 013, Tilburg (NL). Tickets are still available but are going out fast! Be sure to get your tickets in time HERE

Extra last minute ACCOUSTIC SHOW

Upcoming Sunday, Epica will play a last minute accoustic show in Sao Paolo (Brasil) due to the unfortunate cancellation of the MaYaN-show in Rio de Janeiro.

 

 

- Tickets for this exclusive event are already on sale!
- This ticket will also be valid for the MaYan show in Sao Paolo on the 26th!
- People who already own a ticket for the MaYaN show will only pay 20 USD extra to attend the Epica accoustic show
- There is no MaYaN show on the 27th but there will be a meet & greet with MaYaN which will be free of charge
- People who have tickets for the MaYaN show in Rio de Janeiro can get their money back at the venue!!

Recordings done!

Hi all, another update on the new record!
Recordings have been finished. Sascha Paeth has begun mixing the album and so far we are all very pleased with the result!
The new album will be release by Nuclear Blast on the 9th of March 2012
